The Harbinger is a newspaper and public relations tool created by the WEA for its current and retired members.

The "newsline" is a periodic letter to the membership from the President informing them of current topics.

Full table bargaining has successfully concluded with a contract until 2007. The 2006-07 calendar is still being negotiated. Click for updates.

"There is an on-going Job Sharing Agreement between the WEA and the School Board. This allows two teachers to submit a plan for sharing a teaching position. No more than ten (10) full-time positions will be approved in any given year. Only teachers with two or more years of service in Warren Consolidated Schools are eligible. The job sharing program will go into effect for the 2006-2007 school year. Plans must be submitted to Human Resources by March 15, 2006." .

President Naski appointed four (4) Board of Trustee members to the Student Proficiency Advisory Board at its inception in 2003. Professional Learning Communities came out of these SPAB meetings. Learn more about what the Trustees have proposed and learned about PLCs.
